At Austin Speech Labs, we believe in investing in the next generation of speech-language pathologists. Our graduate student internship program offers hands-on, immersive experience working with stroke survivors in an Intensive Comprehensive Aphasia Program (ICAP) setting.

Interns seeking an adult medical placement become a vital part of our team, working alongside licensed speech-language pathologists to deliver intensive, evidence- based therapy that supports meaningful functional recovery. From planning individualized treatment sessions to delivering individual and group therapy , graduate students gain real-world experience that compliments their academic training.
