It is built for individuals with aphasia, apraxia, dyslexia, second-language learners, and more, allowing therapy to be tailored in real time.

Instead of relying on pre-made materials, therapists can create practical, relevant therapy activities during the session, guided by what the client wants to communicate in that moment. Whether the focus is family, work, current events, or daily life, clients actively shape their therapy, making sessions more meaningful, functional, and engaging.

Using Phonology Builder is simple and intuitive. Therapists type in a word or sentence, select Whole Word or First Letter, and click Convert. Instantly, clients can view mouth placements for each sound in a word or see the initial sound–letter connection, supporting phonological awareness and sound-to-symbol mapping.

Therapists can also download the exact words and sentences created during the session, allowing clients to practice at home using familiar, personalized material. This feature strengthens confidence and carryover by reinforcing language clients actually use in everyday life.

When paired with the Phonology App, Phonology Builder serves as a natural next step in therapy. After clients learn and practice individual sounds in the app, the web tool allows therapists to begin blending sounds into words and sentences. This progression supports carryover from sound-level practice to functional reading, writing, word-finding, and script training, extending recovery beyond the clinic and into daily communication.
